Serving up a wide array of all time classics and self aware original music, Michael can be found with his guitar, microphone, and loop pedal in hotel lobbies, at private events, and recording in studio. On Michael’s first release he wrote, performed, recorded, produce, mixed, and mastered everything on his own, proving his versatility and tenacity in the studio space. Since 2011, The New Buddy Holly Band has been playing the music that pioneered Rock and Roll, performing classics by Buddy Holly, Elvis, The Everly Brothers, Chuck Berry, Jerry lee Lewis, Richie Valens, The Drifters, and many, many more. Known for high-energy dancing music, the band puts on sock-hops three times a year at the Hangar Hotel in Fredersickburg. If you stay til the end, you might even catch a drum solo!

The University of North Texas Jazz Singers is the premier vocal jazz ensemble within the Division of Jazz Studies in the College of Music. Under the direction of Jennifer Barnes, Jazz Singers consists of ten vocalists and a five-piece rhythm section who perform a challenging and varied repertoire of jazz and jazz-influenced music, emphasizing close vocal harmonies, cutting-edge repertoire and improvisation.

Since 11 years old, David Forsyth taken his guitar from the desert plains of West Texas to the diy scene of Denton to the Dallas music venues that hide under the shadows of unstoppable corporate growth. How Bout That tiptoes around country music or indie rock, not necessarily avoiding one specific genre or coherently combining several. Instead, it manifests out of Forsyth's core musical influences that touch the far end of different spectrums (Roger Miller, Justin Vernon, Willie Nelson and Frank Ocean, to name a few) and experiences that send him in altogether different directions lyrically.

For the past ten years, Nathan Mongol Wells has been the chief songwriter and frontman of the raucous outlaw country-garage rock fourpiece Ottoman Turks, quietly performing solo all the while.
